Are you happy with the school photos you’ve just received back from your children’s school?
Perhaps your kids pulled a silly face, or their hair was all messy, or their tie was wonky.
For me, my girls don’t even go to the same school now!
For whatever reason, if you would like to have school photographs taken of your children one day after school then please get in contact.
I charge £35 for a short 10 minute session and digital copies of all the good ones will be emailed to you afterwards. (minimum of 5)
Choose one to be done in a blackboard style if you like too.

This extended family of 12 came to see me last September to celebrate a special birthday for their lovely Mum. All her children and grandchildren came together and booked a family photo shoot for everyone, but once the easy bit was done they then had to sync their diaries and work out a day for them all, two of them live in Wales!
It was a lot of fun though, the kids really enjoyed dressing up as pirates and then they had a new lease of life when we drove out to Spargrove to run around in the great outdoors.

I’ve never shot twins before, but i was definitely up for the challenge.
These particular wee twin boys were not so keen on sleeping at the same time, which was a slight problem in that most photographs of newborn babies are done when they are teeny tiny and scrunched up and posed on their tummies with crowns on their head. (and yes i had made princely type crowns especially for them, which will have to be saved for another baby on another shoot)
But thankfully Vikki (the mum) was keen to get some lovely shots of them together so we tried, and we tried, and we tried, and eventually we managed to get some shot of those two little naughty monkeys who are oh so cute.
On the plus side, I got to cuddle them quite a lot which was a lovely blast from the past seeing as my youngest is now nearly seven.

This blog post was also published on the Keepsake Companies website.
With the recent spell of amazing weather we’ve been enjoying (please say I’m not going to jinx it by talking about it) I was suddenly struck by how lovely it would be to have a picnic. Getting out into the great outdoors with friends and family and a few bits and bobs in a picnic basket is so easy and provides a wonderful backdrop for a shoot you’ll remember with as many happy memories as they do!

This lovely little family came to visit me the other weekend and the girls were adorable.
They were only one and two years old, so obviously they didn’t necessarily do what i wanted them to do but hey that’s what i get for photographing children, children don’t do what you want them to do, they do what they want to do and that’s what makes it all the more fun.
I love that my old wooden children’s trolley is such a popular prop.

It was world book day today, and all the school children all over the country (perhaps the world) dressed up as their favourite character from a book. Well that’s the theory, i’m sure lots of children were persuaded into strange costumes by parents this morning. Iris wanted to go as Hermione Granger for ages and then thankfully (because frankly i wasn’t that keen on making a Hogwarts robe) she changed her mind to George Kirrin from the Famous Five, which was much easier.
