This is Katy,
She is the person behind Leo & Bib.
Katy commissioned me to do a commercial shoot for her because she has two magazines who currently want to run features on her and her work.
Her cards and collages are really lovely, so creative, the detail that goes into them is amazing, and I have a little stash of postcards that I send out to friends for birthdays and other occasions.
She describes herself as freelance paper artist from Somerset, using a combination of paper cutting, illustration and collage. She likes to use old books, vintage paper and old magazines and newspapers to create her designs.

Dorothy House turned 40 in September last year. (https://www.dorothyhouse.org.uk)
To celebrate this event they had a thanksgiving service in Bath Abbey and I was asked to photograph this thanksgiving service.
A lady called Pru Dufour started the Hospice in 1976, and the service gave thanks to her as well as allowing the opportunity to reflect on the work of the Hospice, the patients, their families and carers that have been touched by the hospice’s care over the last 40 years.

Back in May a new Mayor of Wells was elected for the City Council.
His name is Cllr Gordon Wilson and I did a few portraits of him to use for publicity and also for the Wells City Council website.
For information on the current Mayor of Wells, click on over to their website and read all about him
www.wells.gov.uk/TheMayor, or even read about all the previous Mayor’s of Wells
Whilst I was there I also shot a few head shots of all the Wells Councillors prior to their first meeting, if you want to find out more about these councillors then head on over to the Wells City Council website www.wells.gov.uk where these portraits, along with a bit of info are all within the members section. http://www.wells.gov.uk/index.php?page=members (more…)

I was up in Bristol last week shooting corporate shots for a company called Forward Vision Solutions http://www.forwardvisionsolutions.co.uk, they fit audio visual equipment in big and small companies.
I’ve done three so far, and this last job was in an amazing building in the middle of Bristol. Ovo http://www.ovoenergy.com has astro turf on most of the flooring and is currently having a tree house being finished in the lobby, meetings can take place it it and a slide is being fitted for when you need to make a quick getaway.
Themed meeting rooms were also being created as I was there but sadly not finished.
But this was amazingly impressive, it’s a wall of moss which contains six screens to show one big image. Those tiny speakers on the side also work in such a way as to have the same volume wherever you are in the rather large lobby area, that kind of technology bamboozles me but i’d like them in my house.

Yes I do, do corporate as well.

Victoria, who owns and runs The Keepsake Company needed some new social media head shots to advertise herself and her business, so she booked in a wee while ago and we had a lot of fun.
Can you tell we had a lot of fun from these photographs?
She had lots of ideas and so did I, and together we worked through them all and acted out lots of different scenarios that she could then use in her advertising campaigns.
