I took a few photos in honour of DottyDay for Dorothy House who provide care & support to patients, families and carers #whenitmattersmost
DottyDay is super special because it falls on an extra day this year and we want to use it to make a huge difference and do something special to help those with life-limiting illness, their families and carers.
By wearing dots and making a text donation or doing a sponsored challenge, you can help us celebrate the 40 years of care we have given and help provide 40 years more.

Nathan & Ruth’s pre-wedding shoot is right here – http://www.charlottephotography.co.uk/nathan-ruths-beloved-shoot/
I started my day off rather early at The Swan Hotel (www.swanhotelwells.co.uk) in Wells photographing Ruth getting ready with all her sisters and friends. Ruth’s nephews amused everyone quite a lot with their antics and then her parents arrived to help with the dresses.
The dress came from Chobham Brides and Ruth’s mum Cath added a few extra’s to the wedding dress which was stunning, Cath also made all the bridesmaid’s dresses, which were all amazing, she’s very clever.

These photographs were taken last summer, and i really miss the sun, please come back and shine on me.
I like this family, i’ve shot some of them before, I like shooting the same families again and again because it means you get to see the family grow, it means that i’m allowed to be a part of that family for a short bit of time which is lovely.
These photographs were taken on their farm in Stoney Stratton.

Last year I photographed my first Chocolate Labrador.
She was called Berry and was two years old at the time.
She’s very strong but liked her treats so much that we managed to get her to sit for long enough to get some shots.

The sunset’s in my wee village are amazing.
I guess the sunset’s back in London could also have been amazing, but i just never saw them or noticed them, or they just didn’t happen in my bit of sky.
I am also actually missing my ‘365’ ‘pic of the day’ project from last year and might actually take it up again, but perhaps not in such a strict manner.
Here is a lovely sunset (only a wee while ago) taken both through my rainy window, and not through my rainy window.
