This lovely couple Diana & Doug (having actually known each other quite a long time) finally married last month in St Peter’s church in Evercreech, Somerset.
Family and friends came from far and wide to enjoy their special day, some came all the way from Australia and others from the USA.
Although they didn’t want too much of a fuss made and weren’t too keen on photos of the actual ceremony, I discretely took just a few, and they were very glad because everybody loved them.
They really do make a lovely couple.

Martina and Kris’ sunny Somerset wedding was stunning.
They were married in Bruton church and then everyone travelled up to Martina’s family farm up in Batcombe where they celebrated and partied in the sun for the rest of the day and night.
It was such a lovely day filled with lots of lovely people and I really did have a lot of fun spending the day with them.
Incidentally on the same day up in Batcombe, Prince William & Kate Middleton were also attending a wedding in Batcombe, but not my wedding. How rude, they should of popped in to say hi.
Here are some photographs from their lovely wedding, it makes me smile just looking at these.

A little while ago I was asked to shoot an extended family gathering over in Castle Cary and I was happy to oblige.
It was apparently a big anniversary for the grandparents and a few of the family members were having big birthdays too, so a double or even triple celebration. Rather unlike me I didn’t find out the details of how many years they’d been married or who’s birthdays it was, I love finding out all the details, that’s what makes these shoots so much fun, I was obviously busy concentrating at the time.
This shoot took place at about 5pm, they were all dressed up and ready to go out to dinner which was perfect timing because the lighting was lovely despite being a bit of a dull day. Everyone was in a happy mood and the children were particularly good sports bless them, they loved going into that field.
(just in case any farmers are reading this, no crops were harmed in the making of this photo shoot, they only stood in between the rows)

Here is the very beautiful Clare & Craig who were married at Combe Grove Manor in Bath, which is a splendid location for a lovely little intimate wedding. Actually it’s probably a splendid location for a huge rock & roll wedding too but this wedding happened to be the former and was a real pleasure to photograph.
Clare and Craig’s wedding was fabulous, there were only 27 people there and I loved everything about it, even the rain!
I loved it so much that I had a lot of trouble choosing the photos to put here, i wanted to put them all up, and believe it or not although it may seem like this is all of them, there are actually a ton more.

In August I did a photo shoot for this family.
None of them live in Langport, in fact most of them lived miles away but they had booked a holiday house for all of them to spend a week in and they booked me as well to capture them all on one sunny Saturday.
The house came with a swimming pool, a trampoline and a massive garden, you can see it here if you fancy booking a lovely big house for a big family get together – http://www.graymanes.co.uk/.
